Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 6 years! So much has changed since then. These posts drew in my first 6 clients, who I worked with individually for 6 months each, stumbling through how to be a coach along the way. These lovely people completely transformed my business and my life, introducing me to myself in a way I never thought possible.
My clients trust me with their stories, hopes, fears, and fumbles. They open up my heart with their vulnerability and faith. They invite me to help navigate their way to their brightest futures, and allow me to be a compassionate witness to their journeys. And most of all, they challenge me to hold a mirror to myself, to meet myself more fully every day.
Last month I started coaching my 126th client. 🤩 I am honored and humbled to support so many fascinating, brilliant, passionate, inspiring, diverse, ambitious, integral, beautiful people. I am particularly proud that 42 of them (33%) have re-upped for multiple coaching engagements to address new areas for growth. And now I find myself just a hair shy of 2500 total coaching hours in just 5 years of doing this work full-time. I’m stunned at that number. How is this my life?!
I wanted to share all of this because I owe it to all of you for getting me here. Thank you for supporting me and believing in me and asking questions about what I do and how I do it, and especially for sending your friends and family my way when you think they could use someone in their corner. Being a coach is such a privilege and I don’t take it lightly. So thank you.
I’m not sure where life will take me next. Each new client is a new life experience, sending us both in unpredictable directions. The clients I’m working with now are beyond impressive and it’s a thrill to walk beside them. I am always on the lookout for people who lead with love and aspire to become their truest selves. While most of my clients are design leaders, nonprofit executives, and artist-activists, I’m drawn to anyone who’s on a mission to make the world a more compassionate and peaceful place in their own way. My job is to help them articulate and accelerate those missions. I am so friggin’ lucky, and as I write this to you today, I am filled with such gratitude.
Thank you for reading. I love you.
