The New York tech scene is bustling and I’m out and about almost every night of the week. Gary’s Guide, run by the lovely Gary Sharma a.k.a. Guy with Red Tie, is a great way to keep an eye out for what’s happening around town.
But wanna know where I’ll be? Now I’ve embedded my Google Calendar under Where’s Whit in the sidebar of this blog. My Dopplr badge and any special events I’m attending have always been posted there.
No, this isn’t my entire calendar — but these are the events that are public and you can join, too. Hope to see you around, and be sure to introduce yourself if you see me first (I’m really friendly, I promise).
[A special thanks to Steven Melfi for helping me sync Google Calendar with iCal]

What I see in your Where's Whit is several items all reading “busy”. It's not actually showing the part about where you are or what you are doing to the general public.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I think I fixed it. Can you see it now?

All good now!
