Chanterelle is a fancy schmancy restaurant in my neighborhood, TriBeCa. Like many restaurants they post their menu in the window, but theirs is completely handwritten and absolutely gorgeous. Inside the bar at the Beekman Arms Inn in Rhinebeck, NY, we found this list of ferry rates between Newburgh and Fishkill from May 24, 1743.
